OUR STORY

Our studio director is Samantha Karadsheh, who is known for her successful career as a professional instructor, choreographer and performer in the art of belly dance. With experience for 13 years, she has traveled to perform, teach, and study to New York, Miami, Kansas City, and Louisanna. She has also performed in many events in the Quad Cities including many festivals, parties, events as well as producing and choreographing her own shows!
Samantha has studied with the masters in the field including superstar DINA, Sadie Marquardt, Randa Kamel, Tito Seif, Lebanese Simon, Marta Korzun, and more!
With a mother who has taught belly dance for over 30 years, Samantha gained a love for belly dance at 16. As a Jordanian born in the states, she shares her love for belly dance or in arabic term "Raqs Sharqi" Which is where the studio name comes from "RAQStar Dance Studio"
Samantha takes pride in not only bringing you all her knowledge on belly dance, but bringing you some of the best talent the QC has to offer including all difference dances like JAZZ FUNK, HIP HOP, SWING & More!
